Actually, the working title is 'Kyuubi Approaching'. But rejoice! It's not precisemente Kyouji-centric, mostly for my Devil's Duo, Kotetsu and Izumo.  I'm working out canon for Kyouji, so if you notice him being retconned on several occasions, don't worry too much, there's not much in the way of continuity where Kyouji is concerned.  Delena-chan gave me horrible inspiration for a 'verse where Kyouji dies and comes back often and a lot, and everyone's cool with it.  Think Kenny from South Park.

I liked Arashi waaay too much, so I'm keeping him.


And about Minato being such a nice person? I'm of the belief that Tsunade and Jiraiya are the sort to completely forget how perfectly awful a person can be once they die and also because Minato was too damn fine.  Case in Point: James Potter.  He was a gigantic ass.

So Yondaime's got a name and it's not Arashi.

Sorry, that was pretty much the worst thing I could ever say.

So.  Now that I've completely freaked out at my best friend about this revelation, I've gotten over it (okay, not really, but sort of), and decided a few things to do with it.  One, I accept the new name, and Kyouji still has this monstrous complex.  Two, the name and major parts of the character that made up Arashi (save for the asshole-ness I never got to work in, that's a Yellow Flash thing all around) is still Arashi- as an OMC relative of Kyouji's.  His cousin who he never talks about or to because he finds it rather unfair that said cousin never had to dress in drag and do the hula.  Or just because he doesn't approve of the sort of ninja he is.  More on that later.  Arashi looks frighteningly like the Yellow Flash, despite the lack of relations, and maybe because of that, doesn't much like Yondaime.  He still feeds Kyouji's obsession because that's what a good cousin would do.  Three- you haven't met her, but I'm going to have to do something about Aya.

Gaaaaaah.  Damn you Kishimoto for waiting sooooo long to release Yondaime's NAME.

For those of you who wondered about Sake Friday, and to somewhat bridge Shinobi Tea with W, S, & C.  Afraid it's not up to par, and kind of switches gears [too] fast at the end.

EDIT: Changed the Yellow Flash's name accordingly.  The age gap between Minato and Kyouji is also there now.

=_= Seriously, I thought Delena-chan was just being overdramatic (gomen ne, Delena-chan...<3) when she said that Tobi had a Sharingan. That, and I thought there would be a little more to this chapter. I mean, sure, we got to see more of Leader-sama (Pain, right? What is this, Final Fantasy? I prefer calling him Brain, like from Pinky and the Brain, Akatsuki's got the same kind of plan) and the blue haired girl, but not much besides that. And what's with Tobi turning out to be the founder of Akatsuki! Seriously, I've got no problem with Tobi being more than a cheerful dumbass, but did they have to just dump it on us like that?
Meh. Anyone here still believe that Pain is Yondaime-sama with a dye job and lots of piercings? I do! Cliche it may be, but it works for me!

Still doodling around with Kyouji's characterization.  And to think he started out as such a minor character and ass.  Don't get me wrong, he's still an ass, but now he's an ass with reasons for being so, and it partially has to do with his gigantically HUGE Yondaime-complex. XD Don't worry, for those of you with little appreciation for onesided unfulfilled (and largely ignored by Kyouji even though he's the one with the complex) OMCYondaime, it's nothing that shows up in the Fifteen, and very barely in any other work he's in.
His hair color also changed.  You have Delena-chan to thank for that. (It's ash blond in Shinobi Tea, but it's brown in the rest of my work with him in it)
Oh, for anyone who cared, Kyouji's First Appearance.  I'm rather ashamed now that he was so mean to Sakumo, but yeah.


On a separate note, my non-brother Rav is one of my favorite people now.  He gave me a copy of Pokemon Emerald for the computer that he downloaded.  It's addicting, and eating my life even more than my favorite cannon fodder chuunin. 

This reminds me...I've gotta post the one with more Minato and muchos humor in it later...
