Sorry, that was pretty much the worst thing I could ever say.
So. Now that I've completely freaked out at my best friend about this revelation, I've gotten over it (okay, not really, but sort of), and decided a few things to do with it. One, I accept the new name, and Kyouji still has this monstrous complex. Two, the name and major parts of the character that made up Arashi (save for the asshole-ness I never got to work in, that's a Yellow Flash thing all around) is still Arashi- as an OMC relative of Kyouji's. His cousin who he never talks about or to because he finds it rather unfair that said cousin never had to dress in drag
Gaaaaaah. Damn you Kishimoto for waiting sooooo long to release Yondaime's NAME.

Meh. Anyone here still believe that Pain is Yondaime-sama with a dye job and lots of piercings? I do! Cliche it may be, but it works for me!
And because Delena-chan said I abuse Kyouji too much, here's something I sent to her to remedy that:

Starting with Lesson Two and onward
Still doodling around with Kyouji's characterization. And to think he started out as such a minor character and ass. Don't get me wrong, he's still an ass, but now he's an ass with reasons for being so, and it partially has to do with his gigantically HUGE Yondaime-complex. XD Don't worry, for those of you with little appreciation for onesided unfulfilled (and largely ignored by Kyouji even though he's the one with the complex) OMCYondaime, it's nothing that shows up in the Fifteen, and very barely in any other work he's in.
His hair color also changed. You have Delena-chan to thank for that. (It's ash blond in Shinobi Tea, but it's brown in the rest of my work with him in it)
Oh, for anyone who cared, Kyouji's First Appearance. I'm rather ashamed now that he was so mean to Sakumo, but yeah.
On a separate note, my non-brother Rav is one of my favorite people now. He gave me a copy of Pokemon Emerald for the computer that he downloaded. It's addicting, and eating my life even more than my favorite

I've started on a 15-shot project called Fifteen Accidental Life Lessons. It's basically fifteen things Team Two, aka Kotetsu and Izumo, learned that their sensei hadn’t meant for them to learn, either at the time or at all. Some from team experience, some from Kyouji-sensei’s mistakes. Expect humor, angst, and that Kyouji, I think, is not an OC who is just going to disappear, no matter how much I’d like him to do just that sometimes.
It’s fifteen because twenty is too many, five is too easy, ten is cliché, and twelve is a biblical number. There is nothing remotely biblical about the shinobi lifestyle.
Kyouji will often be compared with Orochimaru for the simple fact that Orochimaru was his jounin mentor and they worked together through a war and far longer than can be considered healthy. He is an ass. Yondaime, too, is an ass. This will not change. (Besides, while Nice!Yondaime is fun, Ass!Yondaime is even MORE fun.)
